Happy Saturday to you!

I used the Superwash Merino worsted weight this week.  Because of the yardage that comes on some of the cones, I was able to pull up 28 skeins this week, and chose to make a few Solo skeins, along with mostly Twinsets.

And while most of the yarns this week were dyed with a single color, a few came from pre-blended dyes leftover from last week’s leftover colors.   Like #636-637 is leftover blackened-red from last week.

Twinset #638-639 is from a dye jar labeled “Fluorescent Red”.  Into the remaining dye in the bath I added chestnut to create Twinset #647-648.

There are two different kinds of purple this week — #650-651 is a deep rich solid, while the Solo #627 allowed me to capture the remaining purple dye in the bath, so it isn’t quite as deep and rich.

Most of the yarns are solid or nearly-solid, but some look like kettle dyes. There are several fades as well, such as #630-631, which is a fade of the leftover dye from #644-645.  And #632-633 is a fade from the remaining dye in the bath after dyeing #646-647.
