Happy November!
With the clock turning back, I’ve had to re-adjust my schedule for photographing yarns. During Daylight Saving Time, I could photograph in the morning before the sun glared over the roof into my camera and washed out colors. With the sun rising earlier, I’m waiting until early afternoon when the sun is shining onto the yarns from behind me.
Those who have seen my weekly yarn pictures on the rack, please let me know if you like the rack shots with full sunshine (like today) or the early morning shots I’ve been doing.
Yesterday I pulled out what looked like an interesting palette of dyes, and I’m not disappointed.
The last three Twinsets are true DumpDyes, combining the remainders of various dyes: Twinset #865-866 is a blend of red and purple; #867-868 is a blend of whatever spruce and teal was leftover; and then #869-870 is the remaining chestnut, gold, and yellow.
I’d add that #855-856 is a splattering of the same red and purple that later appears as DumpDye #865-866. Twinset #847-848 is a splattering of purple and yellow.
The rest of the yarns are an assortment of different dyes in segmented patterns and splatterings.
These are all Phydlbitz Sock 2.0 (75/25 Superwash 25-micron Merino/Nylon, 460 yards each) and are $28.00 each skein or $52.00 for a matching pair if you order Saturday or Sunday.
To request the ones you want, just send me an email with your numbered selections. After marking your requests off the Available Yarns table (shown below), I’ll write up a PayPal invoice to include shipping USPS Ground Advantage to your location within the U.S. For international shipping, please let me know your location.
I expect to have these ready to ship on or about Thursday.
