<\/a><\/p>\nSince I live in an older mobile home, sitting in a north-south orientation, I have a long west side without shade against the afternoon sun.\u00a0 My window unit cooler works in the living room, but the kitchen was still too warm for steaming yarns.\u00a0 It was after midnight when I was able to get it all done.\u00a0 I could blame it on old age, but I’m pretty sure it was just heat exhaustion.\u00a0 Got done, slept (sort of), and feeling much more like myself this morning.\u00a0 I am definitely going to change my routines to allow myself more time to do things.<\/p>\n
So, anyway here we have the results of yesterday’s dyeing.\u00a0 Most are fairly unremarkable this time — mostly focused on color variety and various dye techniques — but there are a few interesting pairing combinations:<\/p>\n
I think #679-680 would pair well with #683-684, for example;\u00a0 #693-694 would make a great striping combination with #695-696;\u00a0 and #697-698 would do well with #701-702.<\/p>\n
I finished the session with a couple true DumpDyes at the end (#699-700 and 701-702).\u00a0 One pair done with all the red-adjacent dyes remaining and the other with all the blue-adjacent dyes mixed with a gold to create mostly green, but there are tiny blue speckles.<\/p>\n
