a deep charcoal with a navy wash.

And speaking of charcoal and red — at the end of the session, I combined what little charcoal I had with the remainder of the red to create Twinset #287-288 as a deep solid maroon sort of color. Another excellent Twinset to knit up into a shawl, a perfect solid for your favorite lace stitching. Can’t go wrong with solids for lacework.

Twinset #291-293 is random deep charcoal freckles on otherwise undyed yarn. This technique would work well with just about any color you might want. If you need some pretty freckled yarns, please let me know.

There are both monochrome fades (as on #275-276, 279-280, and 289-290) as well as a two-tone combination #283-284).

All Phydlbitz Sock 2.0 (75/25 Superwash 25-micron Merino/Nylon, 460 yards each) are normally $28.00. For Saturday and Sunday, visitors are invited to claim any matching Twinset of this week’s collection (#273-296) for $52.00 for each matching pair.

To claim the ones you want, send me an email (ray@knitivity.com) with your numbered selections. Be sure to let me know if you are outside the U.S., so I can calculate your shipping charges correctly. There is a certain minimum for most international shipping, so it’s the same charge whether you want two skeins or six in a single package.

Speaking of shipping — I learned this week that the U.S.P.S. may be adding an 8% surcharge on packages starting at the end of April until 2027. This is apparently due to uncertain fluctuations in fuel costs, thanks to recent current events. I will know more once they finalize their plans.

I had hoped to get the new shipment of yarns before I dyed yesterday, but FedEx tells me the April yarns should be arriving today. I ordered a small amount of 100% Superwash Merino laceweight, with about 1300 yards for 100grams, so it should be an excellent yarn for your fine lace knitting. One customer has already called dibs on a Turquoise skein. If you want a skein (or two or more) please let me know how many and what color(s) you need. It will be $29.00 per skein.

I expect to have this current collection ready to ship on or about Wednesday.

Available Yarns:
Rack 1 –
